[Japon] Vaccins: le Japon redoute un retard des livraisons, l’UE critiquée

À moins de six mois de l’ouverture prévue des Jeux olympiques de Tokyo, le gouvernement nippon a prolongé ce mardi l’état d’urgence lié au coronavirus à Tokyo et dans d’autres régions du Japon. Le pays n’a toujours pas annoncé le calendrier précis de sa campagne de vaccination, et aucun des vaccins disponibles en Europe n’a encore été approuvé. Un ministre japonais critique le contrôle des exportations par l’Union européenne.

[Japon] Suga aims to turn page with coronavirus emergency extension

Ten prefectures including Tokyo and Osaka will remain under a state of emergency due to COVID-19 through March 7, Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga is set to announce Tuesday, in continued efforts to contain the recent surge of infections to a level at which restrictions on economic activities can be lifted.

[Brunei] Brunei announces guidelines for Chinese New Year celebrations amid COVID-19

According to Brunei’s Ministry of Health, the Chinese New Year can be celebrated in the country with family members only by holding private events. Those with large families are permitted to have private events at banquet halls in hotels or restaurants, provided that Mass Gathering guidelines are adhered to, including the provision of hand sanitizers and conducting temperature checks at the premises. If the number of family members is huge, the celebrations’ attendance should be limited to a maximum of 350 people.
